welcome to note...
UPDATE: 10/30/24
Looks like fall is finally here, the sun is setting a littler earlier each day and there is finally a chill in the air! Vacation was awesome and we thank you all for understanding that everyone needs a break! We will have a few random days here and there but mostly will be regular business hours until the holidays!
We will be closed for an event on Wednesday, November 6
We are winding up our outdoor seating for the season, perhaps a sunny Sunday we will be able to put tables out!
We still encourage you to make reservations early for your dates, your double dates and little celebrations and we will do our best to accommodate!! We do always try to some leave a little wiggle room for our last minute diners and local neighbors who want to pop in, or call ahead to check availability. Our bar is full service and first come first serve, if you are closeby and call ahead we will do our best to save spots! Depending on what we have on for reservations, sometimes we can reserve the bar, sometimes we cannot! For larger gatherings (6-9 ppl) we are only able to accommodate at 5-5:30 pm, based on the size of our kitchen we find it difficult to host larger parties in the midst of service. For parties 10 and up, we will have to make special arrangements as we find our intimate dining room is not suited for these sorts of gatherings, so we appreciate your understanding!
***We are open for dinner Wednesday - Saturday and we seat tables from 4:30-8:00 and Sunday Brunch 10:30-2:00
Reservations are made through email (Ruth@notewinebar.com) I check in frequently during the day and do my best to respond in a timely manner, if you do NOT receive a reply with a confirmation please follow up, occasionally one will slip past me! If you are looking for same day reservations and it's getting late in the day we recommend you call into the restaurant as I may no longer be checking my email.
UPCOMING EVENTS & HOLIDAYS...
Our new mural is DONE and looks amazing, thank you to the wonderful Miss Alison from Switchboard Studios & Gallery for her amazing work!!
Our Holiday Schedule is set through year end and I'll be posting the details shortly!
We WILL be doing New Year's Eve dinner on Tuesday, December 31st!!
Chef Stevie has added fall dishes and also has been offering some really nice specials throughout the week and weekend, but sometimes by Saturday, things are selling out since we are small and order accordingly. Rest assured if you miss out, something good will take its place! Please note the many Gluten-Free options, but please also alert us with any and all allergies!! We make changes to our menu several times a week, and I do try to keep the online menu current, but there may be a difference or two with the current evening's menu! This goes for wine as well, I make changes to the wine list almost weekly. We love to try new wines and share them with you!!
"Aperitivo Happy Hour Menu" features $9 house cocktails & select wines, as well as daily small plate offerings during Happy Hour, which will be from 4:30-5:30 Weds through Sat. You may be seated anywhere to enjoy the specials, but orders must be in by 5:30!!
Thank you ALL for your continued patronage!! Ruth & Staff
Thank you for your continued support~Ruth
note. bistro & winebar, located in the heart of midtown Harrisburg, at the corner of Harris and 2nd Streets, is a 1910 Victorian home that has been repurposed into a warm and inviting establishment. We here all strive to make note a comfortable “neighborhood” gathering place for local residents, as well as a destination for the neighboring West Shore, York, Hershey, and Carlisle communities. Note features a menu that pairs European inspired cuisine with a modern flair with an interesting and eclectic wine list.
Chef Stevie and her culinary team oversee a seasonally changing menu that spotlights fresh ingredients prepared from scratch as well as inspired and creative daily specials.
We offer a full bar selection, with fine beers and craft cocktails to enjoy!
note.’s friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure that your dining experience is one you’ll want to repeat.
