welcome to note...

UPDATE: 3/12/25
Spring has SPRUNG!!! While the weather is warming, thankfully, we will be planning our outside seating towards the end of April. Don't worry, it will be here soon enough!!

PLEASE NOTE: Our Sunday hours are now 4pm-8pm!!

We still encourage you to make reservations early for your dates, your double dates and little celebrations and we will do our best to accommodate!! We do always try to some leave a little wiggle room for our last minute diners and local neighbors who want to pop in, or call ahead to check availability. Our bar is full service and first come first serve, if you are closeby and call ahead we will do our best to save spots! Depending on what we have on for reservations, sometimes we can reserve the bar, sometimes we cannot! For larger gatherings (6-9 ppl) we are only able to accommodate at 5-5:30 pm, based on the size of our kitchen we find it difficult to host larger parties in the midst of service. For parties 10 and up, we will have to make special arrangements as we find our intimate dining room is not suited for these sorts of gatherings, so we appreciate your understanding!

Reservations are made through email (Ruth@notewinebar.com) I check in frequently during the day and do my best to respond in a timely manner, if you do NOT receive a reply with a confirmation please follow up, occasionally one will slip past me! If you are looking for same day reservations and it's getting late in the day we recommend you call into the restaurant as I may no longer be checking my email.

Other fun things...
NEW HOURS OF OPERATION BEGINNING MARCH 2!!!

We are SUPER excited to unveil that beginning March 2, we will be open from 4-8pm every Sunday, in lieu of our earlier service (Sorry Brunchers!!). We will offer a slightly smaller menu but it will surely have something for everyone, as well as some great wine & drink specials!!

Our new mural is DONE and looks amazing, thank you to the wonderful Miss Alison from Switchboard Studios & Gallery for her amazing work!!

Please visit our adoption wall downstairs for a look at the work of amazing local artists who paint portraits of dogs that are available for adoption at local shelters, thank you to Cheddar Paws Dog Art for their hard work!!

Chef Stevie has been offering some really nice specials throughout the week and weekend, but sometimes by Saturday, things are selling out since we are small and order accordingly. Rest assured if you miss out, something good will take its place!  Please note the many Gluten-Free options, but please also alert us with any and all allergies!! We make changes to our menu several times a week, and I do try to keep the online menu current, but there may be a difference or two with the current evening's menu! This goes for wine as well, I make changes to the wine list almost weekly. We love to try new wines and share them with you!!

Thank you ALL for your continued patronage!! Ruth & Staff

Thank you for your continued support~Ruth
note. bistro & winebar, located in the heart of midtown Harrisburg, at the corner of Harris and 2nd Streets, is a 1910 Victorian home that has been repurposed into a warm and inviting establishment. We here all strive to make note a comfortable “neighborhood” gathering place for local residents, as well as a destination for the neighboring West Shore, York, Hershey, and Carlisle communities. Note features a menu that pairs European inspired cuisine with a modern flair with an interesting and eclectic wine list.
Chef Stevie and her culinary team oversee a seasonally changing menu that spotlights fresh ingredients prepared from scratch as well as inspired and creative daily specials.

We offer a full bar selection, with fine beers and craft cocktails to enjoy!

note.’s friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure that your dining experience is one you’ll want to repeat.
