welcome to note...

UPDATE: 11/7/2021
We hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather, I know I am! Lots to update: First and foremost, PLEASE PARDON OUR APPEARANCE!! As most midtowners know, the City of Harrisburg has begun improvements to our sidewalks in preparation for 2nd Street being turned into a 2-way street next Spring. Ours is currently being repaired so our sidewalk seating area haS been obliterated, WE REMAIN OPEN THROUGH THESE IMPROVEMENTS!! but please take caution and excuse the mess, it's going to look amazing when done!! The Fall Menu is out and offers some delicious new menu items as well as a few old favorites (Duck Pot Pie!!!) Our bar seats continue to be limited and are at the discretion of staff to seat them. As of late, reservations are HIGHLY recommended. We DO try to leave room for walk-in diners, but hate to have to turn someone away, even a quick call ahead helps!
Current hours are: Wednesday through Saturday, seating our first and last tables between 4:30-8:15pm as well as Sunday brunch seating between 10:30-2:15pm (subject to change).  For those who make reservations, we will always do our best to accomodate you at the most preferred table, but due to our size this is not always possible, we keep our outdoor seating (IF WEATHER PERMITS) first come (except for those patrons dining with a pooch), first serve but will always try to save you your favorite spot!
FOR FUTURE RESERVATIONS please email me directly at RUTH@NOTEWINEBAR.COM or call to confirm if you do NOT receive an email confirmation, ALSO, IF MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR THE CURRENT EVENING AND IT IS AFTER 4PM, PLEASE CALL THE RESTAURANT. Also a little insider info, often while it may appear that we have "seats" available, please remember our back of the house staff, while they are superheroes to me, they can only cook for a finite amount of folks at any given time, so we try not to do too much at once! Thank you ALL for your continued patronage!! Ruth & Staff
Thank you for your continued support~Ruth
note. bistro & winebar, located in the heart of midtown Harrisburg, at the corner of Harris and 2nd Streets, is a 1910 Victorian home that has been repurposed into a warm and inviting establishment. Owners Ruth Prall and Michael Giblin strive to make note a comfortable “neighborhood” gathering place for local residents, as well as a destination for the neighboring West Shore, York, Hershey, and Carlisle communities. Note features a menu that pairs European inspired cuisine with a modern flair with an interesting and eclectic wine list.
Our culinary team oversees a seasonally changing menu that spotlights fresh ingredients prepared from scratch as well as inspired and creative daily specials.

We offer a full bar selection, with fine beers and craft cocktails to enjoy!

note.’s friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure that your dining experience is one you’ll want to repeat.
